Country Heights House (2019) – The client’s close connection to the steel industry drove the design to centre around the element, beginning from the steel structure to its outer shell on to interior expressions. Together with the client, we arrived at a solution that is true to the material and honest in the expression of form.
JJ’s Apartment (2021) – The space constraints of the modern housing requires specific care to create conditions which are livable and pragmatic. Cabinets that blend naturally into walls and an emphasized veneer centerpiece allowed the space to feel comfortably spacious yet practical.
Villa Mas 2 Management Office (2021) – Within an mature housing development, the client sought to add a new management office. Retaining the existing parking spaces while utilizing the space above, the new management office shelters a functional event space that also functions as parking spaces when not in use.
Serendah Orphanage (2019) – To generate a self sustaining restorative space for the orphans, the brief called for a place that would not only provide recreation but a source of income for the home. The solution was an open plan building that allowed for multiple functions such as activities for the children to event leasing to generate revenue. Natural materials and minimal use of material was specified to maintain a realistic budget.
Taman Hilton Semi-D (2020 | with Lateral Office) – The hierarchy of spaces informed the form of the building. In pursuit of clarity in function, the building massing breaks apart the private domain from the living spaces.
Tamarind Suites (2019 | with Unit One Design) – Our scope involved detail design through to completion. The use of precast concrete and exposed services required careful planning while the variation in modularity created non-conventional floor plans.
